Enid Bartnicki, of Puppet Express, is a former elementary school teacher with experience in K-3. She started creating and selling puppets 25 years ago and has been a professional puppeteer for over 20 years. She began in Santa Barbara with Hobie Baker's "Puppet Workshop" Marionette Troupe and with Jude Biegen's "Puppet Partner's" (hand puppets). She has served as president of puppet guilds in Santa Barbara and San Diego and has performed all over Southern California. It was after moving to San Diego County that she founded "Puppet Express". She builds her shows - which include fables, original stories, variety and holiday shows - from scratch and uses hand and rod puppets.
