The Marie Hitchcokc Puppet
Theater is located in San Diego's beautiful and historic Balboa
Park. |
The Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater is located in the Pan American area
of the park where you will also find the Aerospace, Automotive and Hall
of Champion's Sports Museums. You can enter the park from two directions:
The West Side:
Using the entrance to the park from 6th Avenue and Laurel Street, take
El Prado over the bridge until you reach the San Diego Art Institute
on your left. Turn right (by the fountain) and follow the road past
the Organ Pavilion until you reach a stop sign with a large parking
lot in front (if you're driving, park here). The puppet theater is
on the right hand side and slightly set back. It is on the right hand
side of the Automotive Museum.
The South Side
From Park Boulevard take President's Way in to the park. At the end of
this road you will see a parking lot to your left (If you're driving
park here). The Puppet Theater is almost directly in from of you across
the lot. It is on the right hand side of the Automotive Museum.
There are exits from the I5 for Laurel and Park. Take either one and
follow the above directions. Don't forget to look out for our puppet
show signs to help direct you!
