Eva Kvaas is currently performing shows created by Enid Bartnicki of Puppet Express.  She plans to begin performing her own shows next year.  Ms. Kvaas became involved in the puppet guild six years ago when she met one of the puppeteers in a voice over class at City College and discovered that puppetry combined many of her talents; acting, scene/costume design, song/script writing, etc.  Eva has a degree in theatre from Indiana University where she concentrated on performance and design.  She runs a drama enrichment program-Theatre Kids Workshop and has produced seven musicals at Fuerte Elementary School including Wizard of Oz, Cinderella and Seussical Jr.  She also teaches drama at the La Mesa Community Center.  A local actress, Eva is currently performing the role of Gertrude in Hamlet at the Coronado Playhouse.  Eva conducts puppet making workshops at the puppet theater by appointment.
